  i updated my nokia lumia 800 at NOKIA CARE.
  the new features i experienced are

  --- File sharing(photos and audio files only) via Bluetooth

  --- re-sizable tiles (three sizes)

  --- New home screen

  --- 20 new accent theme colors

  --- Bing image of the day as the Lock Screen wallpaper

  --- new ringtone "NOKIA TUNE REMIX"

  --- apps included App Highlights, Bluetoth share, Contacts transfer,Network setup, Nokia music, Ringtone maker, times point, weather channel app.

  --- and the new firmware version is 1750.0823.8858

  while updating from windows 7.5 to 7.8 does our old data and images get deleted...???

  I had updated my phone to 7.8 version via Nokia care after updating it had bring some cool features like windows 8 start screen, ringtone maker,Bluetooth sharing which is good but we can share videos only songs n images, in themes we had get 10 new more colours which is good n other are minor changes like we can our default search provider we can choose google or Bing n we can make Bing wallpapers as our locked screen image . But there is a big disadvantage of updating that music sound level will decrease almost 30% so update at your own safety
