Close app on multi task screen

Some apps, like the Internet app and game apps, back button doesn't close the app, troublesome to tap a few times before its finally closed.

It is ridiculous that every time I'm opening a application, which i want to close it. Plz add close button on multiple window display.

In Internet Explorer, makes it easier for us to close the app. I need to close every tabs before I can finally quit IE, which can take time if I open many tabs. The back arrow button is very annoying to use, need to press it many times until I can finally close. You can add an option 'quit' in the menu, or you can add an on-screen 'quit' button beside the address bar. That's my suggestion.

This seems to be coming in the next release judging from the recent leak due to the lost dev phone with an internal OS build. The devs seem to have listened to this ;)

        Just to elaborate this feature
If we can get the ability to close application by swiping it up or downwards to close it on multitask screen would also be great idea...

        thanks....

Please make sure an individual can manually update flash player and other programs software when we like. This is inexcusable that you prevented a user from doing so already.

I am a proud Windows Phone 8.0 user i have some suggestions... 1. Killing up of a process during multi tasking (This could be done by pressing back button and automatic cross icon to kill task should come up) 2. Why not task manager feature is provided, how can one monitor the CPU resources being used...
        3. Feature of Re-Booting up a phone should also be added...
and a lil user customization should also be provided... :P

You can shut of your data network without using plane mode
go to settings>mobile network>data connection>and switch to on or off

I read somewhere that the APPs in the multi task screen are actually not running and there is no need to close them. Okay, this was a first and 30,000 votes means most of us don't get this logic. I think microsoft should invest in videos on "how-to" for WP8 and put it on internet and on the phone.
