Some apps, like the Internet app and game apps, back button doesn't close the app, troublesome to tap a few times before its finally closed.

So almost 30,000 votes and no response (that I could see) from MS. This is not the way to treat the people who have actually purchased the device you are trying SO HARD to sell.

pretty hard to close some applications so there should be a single flick option or "x" at the top corner

This really needs to be fixed. I find it so annoying that I can't close Internet Explorer

This is a solid Idea.. Multitrasking screen must be able to close the running apps by swiping up or down, or just provide the [x] icon on the up-right corner to close the running app.

Please implement the meego solution (Nokia N9) to close or reduce running applications it's a very good solution.

the way how we must close applications on wp8 is a little bit boring : you have to show all running applications, then choose which one and start press back button several time in other OS like , meego , symbian belle , andrid and IOS it's much easier and faster :)

We need to be able to Kill Apps that hang.

I know that there is a Time Out Function to Native Background Apps... but not when something hangs.

How many damned votes needed to get MS to act upon this need?! Come on Belfiore.

Windows will never even compete against Android or iOS if these features are not available soon.
