Sirius XM Satellite radio App

Sirius XM Satellite Radio needs an official App for Windows Phone! The "unofficial" SiriusXM Buddy App stopped working in Sept 2012, and who knows if it will ever work again (Sirius changed their API).

Now I switch SIM cards back into my old iPhone constantly just so I can listen to Sirius/XM on my phone.

They have an app for iOS, android and even BlackBerry. I've reached out to them to ask; I'm not sure they are listening. Maybe you guys can help make it happen.

There will not be an app. Sirius has an agreement with google to block all windows apps.

Windows Phone's Market share has increased 133% over this time last year...IT IS IN 3RD PLACE! How can this company develop an app for 4th place Blackberry, and LEAVE WINDOWS PHONE USERS OUT TO DRY!!

SiriusXM is about to switch to API version 2. It is not compatible with version 1. SXM provides only iOS and Andriod app. I've wrote SiriusXM ver.2 support for Nuvo (the only 3th party which has this). I started to work on windows Phone App. It will take some time to have it on market.

Make a feature that allows lower data usage for talk radio. The sound quality can be less for these shows and save a Preston's data plan.

I am a SiriusXm subscriber and siriusxm is very late to come up with an official app for WP8. Please harry up because your service is a paid one. Sam

Has anyone figured out how to convert the flash into HTML5, so it does work. This OS is suppose to be so easy to program apps for in visual studio, so what the heck is the deal, it should be Boom-boom done. Does anyone have the big picture here?

Call SiriusXM Listener Care, 1-866-528-7474, and register a complaint about the lack of a Sirius App. Iphone, Android and even Blackberry have one. It's about time they develop one for Windows Phone users. The customer service rep that I spoke to, sent off an email to Sirius corporate expressing my concern and my reluctance to renew my subscription. If enough people are affected by this MAYBE something will get done. Also see https://www.siriusxm.com/contactus

I've used Windows Phones exclusively since the Blackjack. My Lumia 920 will be my last Windows Phone unless they figure this app thing out. I understand why there aren't official apps from Sirius, WatchESPN, Pandora, NOOK, and others due to lack of market share with the Windows Phone, but why hasn't there been more 3rd party apps like MetroRadio for Pandora? I would pay $40 or more just for the Sirius app., which would put money into the 3rd party developers pockets. Can anyone explain the madness?

If WP8 wants to gain market share, apps that the masses want such as Sirius XM Radio must be part of the package!

I have a Windows RT tablet and I'm surprised there is no XM Radio App. What kind of marketing sense does this make?

I joined Microsoft App Developer program to write a simple app. (nothing related to this topic). Over the last few months Microsoft app department has contacted me several times wanting to help me develope and post my app to the store. Seems they are working hard to add apps and know the importance of getting 3rd party apps on the marketplace. Now, if they could use this energy to convince siriusxm to get in the game with wp7+ it would be a big jump forward for Microsoft. Imagine the tv commercials of all the music stars listening to sat radio on the wp8.
