Continue to use Zune for media sync in WP
The WP sync app/manual copy is inferior to Zune for syncing media. Return to Zune for syncing media, including playlists and play counts.

Yet another voice in favour of Zune. Zune is the whole reason I am in the MS ecosystem at all. It was because of such an amazing experience with Zune that I decided to get a ZuneHD and it is because of that that I decided to choose a Windows Phone. Now, instead of adding teh few bits of functionality Zune would need to replace WMP, yo uhave chosen to throw away one of the best software application UX's of all time, in favour of a raft of apps - X-Box Music and the WP8 Sync application - that are not only measurably inferior but seem to be largely incompatible with the huge collections we have amassed using Zune. It is complete madness and it pretty much ensures that my next phone will be running a different OS.

This has driven me crazy lately, you made a beautiful phone with a great Zune software. Why do you abandon everything? If you want to switch to a different software then do so after it fully matures. i spend 650$ and choose WP8 Nokia 920 above all, before it I had Samsung focus for 2 years.
on top of that, I cannot even upgrade to WIN8 via digital download, I tired multiple times and its not even my payment method issue.
I have never been so frustrated before regarding windows.
Please fix this mess! ASAP -

WP8 is the biggest dissapointment to date, making Android all the more attractive. At least on my Android I can browse files, stream from my NAS, sync my contacts & emails and the list goes on.
My new Nokia 620 can rot in a drawer for all I care, if I wanted to use iTunes I'd have got an iPhone - F@#k you MS -

I also dislike Xbox Music. It's plainly inferior to the Zune software by every measure. Re-branding the software to Xbox Music would be awesome.

In a world of synced and unified ecosystems, the clunky behavior of this platform is just sad. If you don’t want people drinking the apple flavored BS out there, you need to do far better than this and fast.

Please bring it back. There are so many things wrong with the new app and it doesnt even begin to compare with Zune. Just purchased the Lumia 810 and im actually disappointed because of the music syncing.

Bring Zune for PC back the Win 8 sync, and music software is unuseable. I have largely given up on it

If something is not broken, don't "fix" it. Just got use to using Zune and was beginning to love it and than i "upgrade" to a WP8 and i have some broken *** sync program which is not user friendly or attractive.

I just bought a Lumia 620 Yellow. Everything is great except the Desktop Sync App. I'm very miss Zune. The simplicity, beautiful yet it work marvelously.

Oh how i lived wireless sync set up all that i wanted to transfer then just charge my phone and leave my PC on to run updates overnight and all my music was waiting for me why take such a backwards step and have to hard wire to sync please can we go back to the good bits from Windows Phone 7 and add bits not take them away

Are you serious? This replacement is not even a software. Some first semester student spent 1 hour for this. We want Zune back! Now! I loved my WP7 and I thought WP8 would change some of the old problems. And it does. But what about this s**t with syncing music that way?

O how I loved my Zune. When I got my HTC surround I was so excited about having Zune software on my phone and it was fantastic. Please bring back that experience

While you are at it bring back the old Live Tile functions! I want the last artist I played to still have their beaming faces on the Live Tile!! I DEMAND IT!! I didn't ask for ya'll to take this away!

Smart are meant to simplify. My job is not to paid premium dollar for a MS product and also figure think for them. Besides Zune their are many other features lacking in this Os. Great hardware Nokia.

The cloud syncing drives me made. I don't want it so don't force it.
bring back Zune, it was amazing, easy and powerful.
I have now had to start using iTunes which is surely the worst thing Microsoft should be essentially encouraging it's users to use.
also cancelled my 2 year old Zune pass because it's pointless now.
