Continue to use Zune for media sync in WP
The WP sync app/manual copy is inferior to Zune for syncing media. Return to Zune for syncing media, including playlists and play counts.

Please bring back Zune! It may not have been perfect but it's much better than this awful replacement that looks like it's been knocked up in a couple of weeks.

I appreciate the fact that you guys wanted to make a brand new app for windows phone 8. But the fact is that it doesn't work. I've had a windows phone for a few days now, and every day so far has been spent trying to sync my music to my phone without something horrible happening! Zune was amazing and so easy to use compared to what we have now! I agree with everyone else, you either need to bring zune back or just rebrand the software, because what we have now is a travesty.

I loved how elegant it was. You could add music to your phone via Zune and whenever you charge the phone it would sync via wifi automatically. Slick, smart and a great time-saver. It stunned me when I got my new phone and I couldn't do this any more, that was one of the main attractions of the Windows OS for me.
It's an odd feature to remove.

Make Zune work for wp8 divices using Windows XP. Not everyone has Windows 8 on their computers. Also I want all my music from Zune to work on my phone. I purchased this phone and it should work without problems. Maybe all Windows phone users should start a class action lawsuit against Microsoft!

edit id3 info, change file names, burn cds, create playlists, wireless sync, heck sync even, better control over indexing. and for the love of god why doesnt my iron maiden cd brave new world which zune ripped show up in obox music or even on the list for iron maiden. under all albums yet shows up in when I sort by album title.

To put it simply - Zune worked. I have been a Zune Pass subscriber since I bought my Zune 30 (that's a long time). Now with WP8 a lot of my subscribed songs won't play and my playlists won't work. I bought my Lumia 920 hoping that I could sell my Lumia 900 to help offset the cost, but I've had to keep the 900 as a fancy MP3 player. I **really** hope this gets fixed.
Just bring back the Zune software, paint it green and slap an Xbox logo on it and call it a day. :)

Zune's interface and functionality just blow the WP Sync app's out of the water, bring it back for WP8 (even under a different name since you guys are trying to kill the Zune brand).

Zune pass is my life and I use it throughout the day with my WP7 attached. Don't replace it with a terrible "ActiveSync" like client for Windows.

Whenever I wanted to listen to my favourite tune,
there'd be no question, I'd turn to Zune.
But now it's all changed, and branded XBox.
It's like trying to play the drums, with a pair of old socks.
