Manage "Other storage" on internal storage, install apps and save files on SD cards
- Please let us manage the 'other storage' category on the internal storage - view it, move, and delete files. I've got an 820 with 8gb internal storage.... The "other storage" is filling up at an alarming rate.
- Please allow users to install apps and save files to external SD cards.

My nokia lumia 820 phone storage in the "other" is 2.85 GB and now i already uninstall apps and delete temporary files almost 300 MB only but still the same "other" 2.85 GB...It is possible to delete the "other" in my phone storage??? Microsoft Find the solutions for this very big problem...

Just to make sure this will be fixed...
The Nokia Storage Check App does NOT solve the other problem. In my Lumia 820, there are around 300MB temporary files, which can be deleted. And still, "other" consumes a whopping 3.7GB! The first two weeks, I was able to delete the temporary files. In the last days, the temp files not deletable are getting larger and larger.

Please let windows phone 8 users such as Nokia Lumia 820 can install apps inside SD cards, thanks a lot, I'm a one of the Nokia Lumia user. Hope can solve it soon with new updates! :)

My first smart phone was HTC T S710 with WM 6.1, thats why i bought HTC Windows Phone 8S.... Because i was satisfied how htc and windows mobile work... How i remember i was able to install apps on the SD card :)) back on WM 6.1 and i cant install apps on SD card on WM 8... Microsoft you did step backward..

Add file explorer to this OS.. I can't access my memory card files and even phone storage. Even i cant share videos via Bluetooth. Plz solve this problem. I hv nokia lumia 520.

With my HTC 8S I can't update the firmware becouse a few app installed just fill my internal memory (4GB).

I use an 8gb internal memory version of 820 and its absolutely annoying. I need to install a 512 mb asphalt game with 1.2 gb remaining , it still says "low on memory". Really need to add this feature to install apps in SD card. I can't contemplate why they have removed it?

Loved wp8 until I was confronted with the sd apps issue. Really sucks to fuc* up such a beautiful os with this kind of idiotic flaw

Honestly it is pathetic that Windows has not addressed such a glaring and fixable issue. Pick it up you guys. How does EA get named worst American company of the year, SimCity was nothing compared to this.

i have lumia 620.......i like to see my internal and external storage...even cant see other devices shared photo via blutooth...

Ich besitze ein HTC 8S mit 4Gb Speicher wo letzentlich 1,3gb
Speicher zum speichern von Apps übrig bleiben wobei da dann noch der ordner " Andere" tag für tag speicher abzieht so das ich es alle 14tage neu machen muss, an eine navigation ist da garnicht zu denken! -

Like the problem of no apps and docs on SD card this is another problem which steered me away from WP and towards Android :(
I mean idc if I lose my games data and previous history as long as I am able to delete the useless data saved in my cell phone.
I used to do that all the time in my older samsung android phone.Please provide some update regarding this issue and the issue of not being able to view transferred docs from SD card.
Otherwise you'll lose valuable customers

having a lumia 820 and using a3rd party podcast application, it is just incredible that it is impossible saving the podcasts on the SD card. And not only bc of the programs limitations, but the SDK doesn't provide way to modify this application in a way to write on SD card.
shame, shame, shame...
I didn't believe that this OS has so much of limitations, but after having this phone everything just pops up. Hope they will fix these and then it will be a neat OS supporting an excellent phone. -

Yes this should definitely happen as soon as possible! l too have a Lumia 820, a great phone but its only downside is not being able to install apps and games to SD card or transferring them over to the SD card, I felt scammed buying a 32 gig sd card and not knowing this... Hurting up and make this happen I want to install ashphalt 7 and modern combat 4 (when it comes out) but can't =( FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY!

I also love my Nokia lumia 820, but only on the surface and in the menu do not like at all, but SUCH restrictions....why do I need a phone, even if I play Asphalt can't download!!!!!!!! And no one decent game there...and if will download it will be nowhere to go...bye!!!

Я тоже люблю свою нокиа lumia 820, но только внешне и за меню не как у всех, но ТАКИЕ ограничения....зачем мне нужен такой телефон, если я даже игру Asphalt не могу скачать!!!!!!!! А больше ни одной достойной игры нет...а если будет скачивать ее будет некуда...до свидания!!!
