Gives Windows Phone users a tool to clean up their phone
There are several problems due to the lack of file browser, or any cleaning tool for WP8.
I mean, for example, the "Other" section, visible in the storage settings, which doesn't stop growing, even if we uninstall apps.
It could be great if we could see what does it contains exactly, and delete some useless things (apps cache etc.)
Otherwise, a simple file browser could be interesting aswell.

my lumia900 wp7.8 eats up to 10gb for this aloneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...microsoft u in deep trouble for this!

Nokias Storage Check does not fix this.
This is ***required*** to be fixed with GDR2, and by Microsoft, not by Nokia!

Go to settings>applications > internet explorer> delete history
this helps a bit.. But still not much relief.. Please microsoft, apply some wisdom.. This is not a computer it's a phone with limited storage..

Please add file manager to windows phone, I can not clean "others" folder in my HTC 8S. It eats near 1 GB from 2 Gb free in my phone storage.

My first smart phone was HTC T S710 with WM 6.1, thats why i bought HTC Windows Phone 8S.... Because i was satisfied how htc and windows mobile work... How i remember i was able to install apps on the SD card :)) back on WM 6.1 and i cant install apps on SD card on

Also downloaded files that no app could find or open. Unable to find to delete. Unnecessary waste of space.

I've recently uninstalled several apps only to have more space taken up significantly afterward. Must be due to App updates I do.

Others folder sucks phone memory.And even shrink storage and cleanup phone memory software doesn't works for my NL 820

Use Shrink Storage app in the store. Cleared up 1 GB of space on my Lumia. :)

My lumia 820 shows 3.73 GB of Other stuff....Unfortunate that MS is keeping mum on this issue....Will quit WP if there isn't a solution shortly...feeling bad as i suggested WP to few friends of mine :(

I have a htc windows phone 8s and its storage is full with 850mb others which i don't know what are those. How. Can i remove that this phone is totally useless with this kind of storage

The 1308 update found 40mb of temporary files but it could not delete it and the actual size of "other" is almost 3giga. Still waiting for another update.
