Battery Percentage at the status bar
Hugely important, like in iOS or Android..
Yes I can see the percentage in Settings/Energy Saving somewhere, but I want to be able to configure, that I can see it in status bar.
It would be nice to be able to see the battery percent along the top without digging through the settings!
Battery percentage can now be viewed by pulling down Action Centre. Check out the Action Center features now in Windows Phone 8.1 at http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/features-8-1

Putting the percentage in the action center may be helpful, but represents a complete misunderstanding of the request.
The point is to show the percentage (as a number!) without doing anything special. It should be visible at a glance. The number is much more precise and informative than the icon, which is crucial, especially when the battery is low on juice.
I can understand if not everybody wants to see the number, but there should at least be an option to show it instead of (or next to) the icon without tapping the screen or pulling down the action center.
This request has NOT been implemented as requested!
Add a option to turn it on and off

This is a wonderful idea
more than 4 options for quick access to settings in action center
Thanks for bringing this to 8.1 as you swipe down the action center
Done in 8.1. Use your votes on something like this: http://windowsphone.uservoice.com/forums/101801-feature-suggestions/suggestions/2283435-manual-ip-configuration

In WP8.1 it appears as you pull down the action centre. That's good. :)
