In my opinion, the problem is that the "click" tone (e.g. when you type letters on the keyboard) is linked in to the ringtone and everything else. I like having the click as it makes typing easier, but I have to turn it down really low, otherwise it bothers me and others. And once it's quiet, I forget to turn the volume of the phone back up; and so I miss the call that comes 5 minutes later...
Also, I'd really appreciate the ability to switch between ringtone/vibrate/silent, or have easy-to-access sound profiles. I normally have my phone either on "loud" (ringtone+vibrate) or "silent" (nothing). The only way to switch between them is to go into the settings and disable ringtones and vibrate (several clicks). My old Windows 6 phone solved this brilliantly, using the hardware volume button to go through these options loud+vibrate -> quiet+vibrate -> just vibrate -> silent.
