It's been several months and there's been no good solution. I doubt we'll ever get a good synch method. I've been on board with WP since the early days of WP7, but I'm moving on. Time to sell my Nokia 920 and get a HTC One.

Thanks for the info Alex R, but that program is just as bad (if not, worse) that the previous build.

The "Sync" button should be renamed "Copy to Phone" because it doesn't keep anything in sync. If you check something then sync, it copies over to the phone. Uncheck and click sync, and it doesn't not delete from the phone. The problem with duplicate songs with strange filenames is worse and I get error messages everywhere.

I've had a great two years on my WP7 phones, but after all this, I'm about ready to go back to Apple when the next iPhone gets released.

I had to buy an iPod touch because podcasting is so bad on WP8. Music syncing is also a headache, and I think I'll just use the iPod for music as well.

I'm seriously considering digging my WP7 Lumia 800 out and using that phone insead of this new Lumia 920.
