  1. Don't remove the Back Button!

As WP users, we all love the unique experience that windows phone gives us compare to other mobile OSes.
One of those important feature is the back button. Please, don't do it. It allow the user to easily move around the UI and is already used very effectively by most of the developers.
This is one change I can't stand by.

    • Lumia 1030 and quick!

Same camera as 1020 if you like, but latest internals like 930 but with MicroSD slot. 32Gb is just not enough. Size of 930 feels about right, I just need a replacement for my 808 and 1020 is just not fast enough or has enough memory.

      • SURFACE PHONE running Windows 10

In April 29, 2015, Microsoft's Joe Belfiore announced that a feature called Continuum for Phones would be brought to upcoming Windows 10 Mobile devices.
This unique feature allows the user to connect one's Windows-10-smartphone to a display, mouse and keyboard and unleash a user experience similar to (but NOT the same experience of) a traditional desktop PC, as demonstrated in the announcement video in the link below:

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oi1B9fjVs4

However, I reckon this feature, while unprecedented and exciting, is inadequate, and could be drastically revamped. I wrote above that IMHO this feature delivers a similar -but rather not quite the same-…

          • Remove/disable use of capacitive buttons

These buttons are the worst part of my windows phone experience. They are always being triggered accidently when hands or fingers get anywhere near them.

              • Please allow users to disable haptic feedback on the main buttons on Windows 8 phone

I love my new Nokia 820 except the enforced haptic feedback on the buttons.

Please allow owners the option to switch it off. I have only had it one day but it's giving me RSI even though I have never suffered from it before.

I'm at the point or returning the phone. A pity.

                Many thanks

change the white color windows hardware button to blue yellow red and green colors, this will make all of the windows phone devices look shiny, as a windows phone user i would like to see this improvement on future windows devices (WP8)

                    • More phones with physical keyboard

Better phone options with QWERTY keyboard, like BlackberryBold. We want to recommend WP to executives who type a lot of email and prefer physical keyboard.

                        • Support a hardware keyboard on WP8

Windows Phone 8 devices finally bring a lot of Office power. They may have excellent on-screen keyboards, but split-screen edits of Office documents are not ideal, and do not do the device justice.

An NFC-only keyboard exists for Android, while Bluetooth or USB(otg) keyboards can be used with Android, Apple or Symbian^3 devices. Microsoft has always created excellent keyboards, and the Surface RT supports a keyboard dock. This is why complete lack of keyboard options on WP8 is bizarre.

Please support a Windows 8 phone with a slider keyboard like the Nokia E7, support a wireless charging NFC keyboard for…

                          • Keep the Nokia branding for all future Smartphones - Not just for Asha

NOKIA is a well recognized brand all over the world. Its also a major reason for the traction WP is experiencing over the last two years. We hate the see the brand name vanish. Keep the name Nokia...Please!

                            • Don't drop the Nokia name from next-gen Lumia devices.

Don't remove the Nokia branding from hardware, as this will drastically cut into sales of Lumia devices. People unfortunately don't buy Windows Phones, they buy Nokia devices. The Nokia name has much better perception in many non-US nations, which is where the bulk of Windows Phone sales are coming from. Dropping the name would hurt Windows Phone and make Android gain even more marketshare.

                                    • Next Flagship based on Snapdragon 820

As rumors have speculated that next flagship 'Cityman' and 'Talkman' are coming with supposedly Snapdragon 810 and 808 processors respectively. But as we all understand these phones will launch after W10 Mobile RTM, so probably around October/November. Problem is other android manufacturers will be launching phones based on snapdragon 820 by November/December and we don't want our Lumia to feel obsolete just a month after launch. Please consider using next gen SoC like Snapdragon 820 because W10 is going to be pretty heavy on processor with features like Continuum. As most of the users upgrading will be coming from Lumia…

                                        • Move to on-screen navigation controls only

Physical or capacitive buttons on the body of phones adds unnecessary bulk. They are permanent and do not temporarily free up screen space when not in use like on-screen controls.

By switching to on-screen only, you can have a much larger screen without a much larger phone.

This would of course only apply to future Windows Phones manufactured.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful suggestions!

We do expect the majority of new devices to switch to software navigation controls, which are generally less expensive for the phone manufacturers and have the usability benefits mentioned by in this suggestion. That said, phone manufacturers are still allowed to build devices with hardware buttons if they choose.
